A few weeks ago I traveled to the USA to photograph a wedding at Brooklyn. But this city is pure inspiration for my work and there are always projects, shootings or a couple session in New York or its magical surroundings thanks to my friend Jose Melgarejo, a wedding photographer in Brooklyn.
In those days I met Charissa and Mark, a couple who decided that creating a memory in some of the spaces where they work as models could be a good idea to have some natural photographs.
After a few days in contact with the couple to manage everything and create a bond of trust, we went to do the couple’s session at Grayscale Studios, the best photo studio in Jersey City.
Grayscale Studios is for me to be at home. All this thanks to Carlos, one of CEO of the studio. We know each other thanks to the fact that Grayscale Studios is a collaborator of RUMBO and together we are moving the value of photography.
We began the session relaxed, very calm, where things arose on their own and the couple could freely flow through the environment. For my part, I only wanted to document their moments, their intimacy, their games and their laughter.
We really liked taking advantage of every corner of the studio, as if it were a house. Even deciding to go out and explore the block together where they create a fashion couple shoot.
Hace unas semanas viajé a Estados Unidos para fotografiar una boda en Brooklyn. Pero esta ciudad es pura inspiración para mi trabajo y siempre surgen proyectos, shootings o alguna sesión de pareja en new york o sus mágicos alrededores gracias a mi amigo Jose Melgarejo, fotógrafo de bodas en Brooklyn.
En esos días conocí a Charissa y Mark, una pareja que decidieron que crear un recuerdo en algunos de los espacios donde desarrollan su trabajo como modelos podía ser buena idea para tener unas fotografías naturales.
Despues de unos días en contacto con la pareja para gestionar todo y crear un vínculo de confianza, marchamos a realizar la sesión de pareja en Grayscale Studios, el mejor studio fotográfico de Jersey City.
Grayscale Studios es para mi estar en casa. Todo ello gracias a Carlos, uno de los socios del estudio. Nos conocemos gracias a que Grayscale Studios es colaborador de RUMBO y juntos estamos moviendo el valor de la fotografía.
Comenzamos la sesión relajados, con mucha calma, donde las cosas surgieran solas y que con libertad la pareja pudiera fluir por el entorno. Por mi parte únicamente deseaba documentar sus momentos, su intimidad, sus juegos y sus risas.
Nos gustó mucho aprovechar cada rincón del estudio, como si de una casa se tratara. Incluso decidiendo salir y explorar la manzana juntos donde crear un sesión de pareja de moda.
