Iceland Elopement

Islandia… aquel paraíso donde todos los fotógrafos de naturaleza y fotógrafos de boda soñamos con ir al menos una vez en la vida… Aquel paraíso que inspiró a series como «Juego de Tronos» o películas como “La vida secreta de Walter Mitty” (película recomendadísima) o «Viaje al centro de la tierra» de Julio Verne… Si.. Islandia, un verdadero paraíso fotográfico.

Esta vez este paraíso solo contextualiza la historia de Jenn y Jose en su sesión de post boda en Islandia… Ya que ellos son los verdaderos protagonistas de esta bonita historia.

Hace exactamente un año que conocí a Jose y Jenn. Ellos son fotógrafos de boda en Brooklyn (NYC) y generamos muy buen royo en mi último viaje a Nueva York. Compartimos buenos momentos y gracias a ellos tuve la oportunidad de conocer a fondo la ciudad.

Pasaron los meses… y por su 6º aniversario de boda, Jose tenía una bonita sorpresa para Jenn… Aquel viaje que soñaron hacer de novios, querían planearlo para disfrutarlo ahora en forma de Elopement en islandia (Concepto internacional donde a través de una sesión postboda se crea o bien una ceremonia o se leen los votos en un lugar clave de la sesión) contratándome a mi personalmente para ser el autor de su bonito recuerdo fotográfico.

Paisajes salvajes, playas negras, terrenos volcánicos y estructuras de terreno jamás nunca vistas junto a un oleaje descontrolado. Parques naturales rodeando icónicas iglesias particulares de Islandia, olor a azufre y plantas que nacían de roca volcánica…mientras ellos solo con mirarse, entre lágrimas y abrazos… se derretían de amor.

Realmente me siento muy afortunado, que un compañero fotógrafo de bodas de New York tenga en cuenta mi trabajo y mi cercanía para poder narrar un momento tan bonito de su historia.  Sentirte como un fotógrafo de bodas en Islandia, su bonita historia y los momentos vividos junto a ellos fueron maravillosos,… Deseo que vean la sesión y disfruten como yo disfruté. ¡Viajen!

This time this paradise only contextualizes the story of Jenn and Jose in their Iceland Elopement … Since they are the true protagonists of this beautiful story.

It’s been exactly a year since I met Jose and Jenn. They are wedding photographers in Brooklyn (NYC) and we generated very cool climax on my last trip to New York. We shared good times and thanks to them I had the opportunity to get to know the city in depth.

Months went by … and for their 6th wedding anniversary, Jose had a nice surprise for Jenn … That trip they dreamed of making boyfriends, they wanted to plan it to enjoy it now in the form of Elopement in Iceland (International concept where through a post wedding session its create either a ceremony or read the vows in a key place of the session) hiring me personally to be the author of his beautiful photographic memory.

Wild landscapes, black beaches, volcanic terrains and terrain structures never seen near to a uncontrolled waves. Natural parks surrounding iconic churches of Iceland, smell of sulfur and flowers that born in volcanic rock … while they just look at each other, between tears and hugs … melted with their love.

I really feel very fortunate, that a fellow NYC wedding photographer takes into account my work and my closeness to be able to narrate such a beautiful moment in their history. Feeling like a Iceland wedding photographer, their beautiful history and the moments lived with them were wonderful, … I want you to watch the session and enjoy as I enjoyed. Travel!
