There are infinite beautiful places to celebrate a wedding in Spain and the Mediterranean coast wedding is one of them. I am personally in love with nature and coast areas and as a wedding photographer working on a coast wedding allows me to create a beautiful wedding memory.
I present to you Sandra and Chris, a couple living in Texas, USA, who a year and a half before their wedding aprox. They decided to contact me to let me know that they were getting married and to tell me their story. We connected right away and I remember talking about some references and they knew my website inside out.
Sandra is from Lorca (Spain) and she has been sharing life with Chris for a few years, a charming guy. They are a couple’s love and they transmit it in every moment of their lives that they share with their loved ones. The wedding was a thank you to the life shared with your loved ones, it was magical.
In the preparations, there were very emotional moments, such as the moment in which the bridesmaids saw each other for the first time after a while, with Sandra, or when the precious Volkswagen T1 van arrived, which took the bride to the place of the ceremony (it was a surprise for Chris).
WEDDING CEREMONY ON THE MEDITERRANEAN COAST
Sandra and Chris were clear that they would celebrate their wedding in Spain, on the coast, as close as possible to Lorca, their place, their land. And there we landed, next to the Mazarrón Golfo within the Costa Cálida (Murcia), where as soon as we arrived we found a boho-style wedding decoration that could not be more beautiful.
Chris waited with the rest of the wedding guests while the bride arrived in the Volkswagen T1, it was a moment!
Sandra and Chris live a very hippie life and for the ceremony they decided to carry out a wedding rite using Hawaiian necklaces that were placed just after reading some of the most sentimental words. Once the rite was over, an eagle appeared flying from the distance, carrying the wedding rings. It was a precious moment that left us all with our mouths open.
Once the ceremony was over, all the people moved near the cliff to welcome the couple, hug them and toast them together, make a wish and throw a stone into the sea.
We continued and went straight to creating a nice memory and doing a wedding session, where we could take advantage of the magical light that was there.
The wedding banquet was at El Cortijo Venta Vieja, where people were waiting for us to start the banquet and the wedding party. Both moments were full of tributes to the most special people in his life and dances, lots of dancing!
I do not want to forget to thank Adrian Pagán, wedding photographer in Murcia. He accompanied me to the wedding and with whom, after doing his wedding in Palencia a few years ago, we began a healthy friendship and companionship. And of course, this time he was going to be having a wedding in Lorca, close to where he lives.
